How We Keep Our Children Safe

Security In our School

Cameras allow complete monitoring of our school, ensuring peace of mind. In addition, our school entrance requires a door code for family and staff. This feature protects our children and staff throughout the day. We meet all MSDE requirements for safety standards within the classroom that keep our youngsters playing and learning safely!

Advanced Tech

We are constantly working to improve our offerings and expand upon our technological capabilities. Our expert team of professionals is passionate about developing the most advanced tech on the market. Ready to experience the future? Get in touch.

Sleep Safe

In our cots and cribs, we always use age-appropriate bedding. Our infants are always laid on their backs to sleep. Teachers conduct regular nap checks for our children's sleep and ensure visual contact for every child.

Limited Classroom Entry

To help control the spread of germs and maintain group sizes, have designated pickup and drop off areas for families inside of our facility.

Temperature & Wellness Checks

Temperature checks are taken upon entering the facility for everyone within the school day. Wellness checks are done regularly for all children during the day. Parents are called and notified for their children if they are ever not feeling well or exhibiting symptoms of illness.

Prepared Teachers & Facility

All of our teachers are First Aid/CPR certified and each classroom is equipped with first aid kits for those "boo boos". Our team will always have a medication admin-certified staff member on-site at all times.  Monthly fire drills and semi annual evacuation drills are scheduled throughout the calendar to ensure safety if ever faced with those situations.

Handwashing

One of the most important ways staff and children in preschools can stay healthy is by keeping their hands clean throughout the day. In fact, Early Care and Education (ECE) programs promoting hand hygiene can result in less gastrointestinal and respiratory illness and fewer missed days. Tree of Life staff and students follow enhanced handwashing schedules throughout the day to ensure the spread of germs and viruses.

Playground Safety

Our playground area is surrounded by a secure fence to protect our students from environmental hazards. To prevent playground injury from falls, we use rubber mulch surface material; one of the best play surface areas to date. Our cleaning company regularly cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects play equipment to prevent the spread of germs and illness.
